Tigers Wrangle Rams, 6-3
The NA Varsity inline hockey team beat rivals Pine-Richland on Sunday at RMU Island Sports Center, 6-3. In the first period it was junior Logan Cerqua who had NA’s loan goal and after a period, it was all square at 1-1. Senior Joel Blaha and junior Jacob Rice each had a goal in the second period giving the Tigers a 3-2 lead heading into the final frame. In the third period, senior Brett Baker scored twice, and Rice put the game away with an empty net goal, his second of the game, for a final score of 6-3.The win brings the Tigers record to 3-0. Their next game is Sunday, Oct. 9, at 4 pm at RMU against Canon-McMillan.
