Vandergrift Tailgate Chair Jean Brown (Sept 8th first home game) There was a question about our athletes conditioning over the summer months. With cheerleading being very physical, conditioning will be part of the summer months practices. During tumbling the girls will be using ½ of the time to condition and ½ of the time to tumble. Competition Schedule PNC Park TBA (early Sep.) Three River Challenge Upper St. Claire, Nov. 4th (JV & V) PA States tentatively Nov. 18th (JV & V) Allegheny Super Regional Slippery Rock, Dec. 9th/10th (JV & V) Penn State Keystone State Champs Jan. (V) Florida National If qualify Feb. 9-11 (V) Rose Woolley Treasurer Report The amount due by June 9th is listed for each squad. Competition fees will be billed as they come up. If your athlete works at Mini Camp the Boosters will pay up to 50% of the competition routine and stunting fees, as long as your booster dues are paid. This year fundraising to individual escrows can be used toward anything. Clothing Clothing will be ordered through Cindy Roberts. Nothing will be distributed until fees are paid. Shoes for this year will be Nike Energy - $40/pair. June 21st a representative will be coming for shoe fitting. Varsity will need two pair of shoes. JV and Freshmen will need one pair of shoes. Athletes should check to see if they need spankies, body suite, or socks so they can order these at mini camp practice. (Black NA Jackets - $55 if needed Varsity Jacket - $100 Fleece about $40) The coaches want to get new cheer bags this year the price has yet to be determined. Fundraising We will be doing a Betsy Ann choc. On-line fundraiser around the Holiday time. Mini Camp This is our biggest fundraiser and requires a lot of work. Every athlete is expected to have an adult representative help in some manner during the week of mini camp. We will be doing ads this year along with the hoagie sale. All athletes are being asked to purchase at least one hoagie. All hoagies will arrive on Wednesday during camp.
