MEET SHALER IN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS
The Tigers will face the Shaler Area Titans in a best-of-three playoff
series in the semifinals of the league championships. The first game
will be played tonight at the Island Sports Center with game time
scheduled for 6:30 pm.

ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME CONTINUES MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
The North Allegheny Athletic Hall of Fame is currently conducting its
annual membership drive. All athletes who graduated in, or before,
1998 are eligible for consideration. To nominate an athlete, you
must be a member of the Hall of Fame Association. (More)

Lacrosse(M)/TIGERS
BLAST MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, 16-7, IN OPENER
Senior Dan Wojciak and Dan Huckestein scored six goals each as the Tigers
opened their 2004 season in impressive fashion with a 16-7 victory over
Manheim Township. The game was played at Upper St. Clair High School
on Friday night. The Tigers will be back in action on Tuesday when
they travel to Fox Chapel.

Hockey/CENTRAL CATHOLIC EDGES TIGERS, 2-1
The Central Catholic Vikings defeated the Tigers, 2-1, in a hard-fought
battle in the quarterfinals of the PIHL Penguin Cup on Thursday night at
Bladerunners in Harmarville. Senior Billy Weiler scored the NA
goal. The loss ended the Tigers' season as NA finished with a 19-5-2

TO RECEIVE CITATIONS FROM PENNSYLVANIA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

citations from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to selected
