NA Eclipses Moon To Extend Winning Streak To Nine

Posted on:

The North Allegheny boys’ tennis team began April the same way they ended March, with a dominant 5-0 win, this time over section foe Moon.

Freshman Advaita Sircar finished off his opponent in quick order to get the Tigers on the board first, 6-0, 6-0. Not far behind, senior Trey Davidson likewise rolled to an impressive 6-0, 6-0 victory. With Moon shorthanded and having to forfeit third singles, that proved to be the decisive point of the match.

Senior Adithya Ramadas Guptha teamed with his brother, sophomore Adhav Ramadas at first doubles, and proved to be a winning combination as they blanked their Moon opponents, 6-0, 6-0.  Finally, senior Amit Bhandari and freshman Shivum Telang had little trouble in dispatching of their adversaries at second doubles, 6-1, 6-1.

The team travels to Lakevue Racquet Club to take on Seneca Valley on Tuesday. Match time is set for 1:00 PM.
