NA Sinks Seneca Valley for 10th Straight Win, 5-0

The North Allegheny boys’ tennis team finished the first half of the season with their 10th straight win, a 5-0 victory over section foe Seneca Valley.

Senior Trey Davidson got the Tigers on the board first with a dominating performance at third singles, 6-0, 6-0. Sophomore Evan Kaufman returned to the lineup without missing a beat to defeat his Raiders opponent at second singles, 6-0, 6-0. Freshman Advaita Sircar completed the singles sweep by smothering his adversary at first singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Senior Amit Bhandari and junior Srivatsav Thirumala wasted little time getting doubles action started by blanking their opposition, 6-0, 6-0. Finally, senior Adithya Ramadas Guptha once again teamed with his brother, sophomore Adhav Ramadas, this time at second doubles to overwhelm the Raiders, 6-0, 6-0.

On Wednesday, Sircar and Kaufman will represent NA at the Section 2-AAA Singles Tournament.
