Tigers Fall To Panthers In Road Matchup

The North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team hit the road to take on Upper St. Clair in non-section action. The Panthers prevailed with an 18-5 win.

The Tigers found their best offense in the first quarter, scoring three goals. Sophomore Addison Sisinni tied the game at 1-1 with seven minutes left in the frame. NA also had goals junior Reagan Riordan and sophomore Gracie Lynch. USC held a 7-3 advantage after one stanza.

The Panthers expanded the lead to 12-3 by halftime. Riordan added her second goal of the contest in the third quarter, while Lynch scored her second in the fourth. The Panthers were led by Anna Capobres, who tallied five goals. Riley Powell registered four markers, while Mea Musillo also had a hat trick.

Sophomore Ruby Rosenberg made five saves in net, while junior Fiola Ragan made four stops.

North Allegheny falls to 4-10 on the season. NA hosts Peters Township in another non-section matchup Monday night at 7:00 p.m. That game will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
