Four Tigers named to Big 56 All-Section Team
Four members of the North Allegheny softball team were voted all-section performers by the Big 56. The release was made Wednesday morning.
First-team accolades went to sophomores Zoe Rychel and Leah Carlson along with senior Sammy Plotsko. Second-team laurels were garnered by senior infielder McKenna Rowlands. This is Rychel and Carlson’s first appearance on the Big 56 all-section team while Plotsko is being named first team for second straight season. Rowlands is also receiving second-team honors for the second year in a row.

North Allegheny will return to action this afternoon in the WPIAL Quarterfinals when they take on Norwin at 2 p.m. from Fox Chapel. The game will be broadcast live by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
