Tigers knockout Knights
The bell rang at North Allegheny’s first home section match of 2025, and the Tigers wasted no time landing a flurry of blows that left the Knoch Knights reeling. By the final scorecard, it was a lopsided 169-205 knockout.
Leading the charge was heavyweight medalist Ravi Desai, who came out swinging with a vicious 4-under-par 32 that sent shockwaves through the course. The punishment didn’t stop there – seniors Colin Ward and Preston Troiano, along with junior Kyle Seidl each connected with crushing 2-under-par 34s. Senior Liam Cooper delivered the final uppercut, sealing the bout with a sharp 1-under-par 35.
Knoch’s lone stand came from Aaron Voltz, who managed an even-par 36 before the final bell.
The win keeps the Tigers undefeated at 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the section. Next up is another fight on home turf today, when Shady Side Academy steps into the ring at North Park. The first tee time is 3 p.m.
