Boys Golf wins 10th match with close victory over Seneca Valley

North Allegheny hosted section rival Seneca Valley at North Park Golf Course in a matchup that lived up to expectations. On a dry and challenging track, the Tigers clawed their way to a hard-fought 184–187 victory, improving to 10–1 overall and 3–1 in section play.
Senior Ravi Desai led the charge with a brilliant 3-under-par 33, the low round of the day. Backing him up were seniors Liam Cooper and Preston Troiano, along with junior Kyle Seidl, each carding solid 37s. Senior Colin Ward rounded out the scoring with a 40.
Seneca Valley was paced by Josh Marquardt, who posted an even-par 36.
The Tigers will be back on the range Wednesday before opening their school year with another key section showdown against neighboring Pine-Richland.
