NA beats Hempfield convincingly to pick up first win of season
North Allegheny traveled to Hempfield High School on Thursday night to take on the Spartans in a Section 1-3A matchup. After three straight ties, the Tigers got into the win column with a convincing 10-1 win.
Kaylee Volk and Addison Burns both recorded hat tricks. Grace Gavran added two goals while Alexis Solomon and Davia Gross also scored.
North Allegheny improves to 1-1-3 overall and 1-0-1 in the section. Hempfield falls to 1-2 overall and in section play. The Tigers will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Norwin High School to take on the Knights at 7:15 p.m.
