Six Tigers qualify for WPIAL Individual Tournament

Six Tigers teed it up Monday at Saxon Golf Course in Saxonburg for the WPIAL Individual Qualifiers. Each section team sent its top six players, with scores of 83 or better earning a ticket to next week’s WPIAL Individual Semifinal at Willowbrook CC.
Senior Preston Troiano led the charge with a stellar 4-under-par 68. Senior Colin Ward followed with a strong even-par 72, while fellow senior Ravi Desai carded a steady 73. Junior Kyle Seidl added a 74, senior Mike Huet posted a 79, and senior Liam Cooper sealed the qualifying mark with an 83.

The team is back in action Tuesday hosting New Castle in the last section match of the season before heading into the team playoffs.
