Boys Golf punches ticket to defend WPIAL Team Title

On a rainy afternoon at the Links at Spring Church, the North Allegheny Tigers rose to the challenge in the WPIAL Team Semifinals, facing off against four undefeated teams and three other strong contenders.
Senior Ravi Desai led the charge with an impressive 1-under-par 69, setting the tone for the team. Fellow senior Preston Troiano followed with a solid 2-over 72, while senior Liam Cooper came through in the clutch, contributing a key 78. Senior Colin Ward added an 80, and senior Mike Huet rounded out the scoring with an 81, helping secure the Tigers’ spot in the finals for the second year in a row.
The team will return to practice on Wednesday to prepare for the WPIAL Team Finals at Cedarbrook Golf Course.
