Tigers defeat Raiders for season sweep
North Allegheny traveled to Seneca Valley High School to take on the Raiders on Tuesday night. After a Tiger sweep in the first matchup, it was more of the same the second time around as NA won by set scores of 25-22, 25-14 and 25-20.
Will Robertson had 10 kills to go along with two aces and 12 digs. Brendan Moore added 10 kills with five blocks and five digs. Peter Bratich had seven kills and four blocks. Nathan May chipped in four kills and two blocks. Emmett Morris had 11 digs defensively while Nicholas DiPrato had five. Jackson Failla and Elliot Swierczynski each dished out 15 assists.
North Allegheny improves to 9-0 overall and 7-0 in the section. The Tigers return to action on Thursday when they host Pine-Richland at UPMC Court at 7 p.m. This game will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
