NA opens section play with win over Butler

North Allegheny hosted section rival Butler at North Park on the first day of school and landed their first section win of the season. Freshman Jake Hendrick led all scoring with a 1-under par, 35. A trio of 37’s from senior Ben Ha, junior Jayden Park and sophomore Jack Pagnotto paced the Tigers while senior Kyle Seidl rounded out the top five scores.
Levi McClenland led Butler with a 37.
The win moves the Tigers to 3-0 for the season and 1-0 in section play. On Wednesday the North Allegheny travels to Beaver Area, which is new to the section.
