Tigers Card Lowest Score Of Season In Win Over Warriors
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team traveled over the river and through the woods to Deer Trail to play Central Valley. The team carded the lowest score of the season and walked away with a 172-203 victory.
Leading the charge was sophomore Roman Habib with a 2-under par 33. Chipping in for the win were a pair of one-under 34s from freshman Jake Hendrick and Jayden Park, an even-par 35 from senior Kyle Seidl, and a 36 from Senior Ben Ha. Central Valley was led by Kaden Mumom’s 38.
The win moves North Allegheny to 9-2 in the section and 12-3 overall. The guys will prepare individually for the WPIAL Individual Qualifiers on Monday at Saxon Golf Course. The team returns to action Tuesday at North Park against Central Valley.
