NA defeats Central Valley

North Allegheny played Central Valley on Monday during the WPIAL Individual qualifiers at Saxon Golf Course because of the impending rain on Tuesday and ended the day with a 188-214 section win.
Sophomore Roman Habib led all Tiger scoring with an even par 36. Adding to the win was freshman Jake Hendrick’s 37, a pair of 38’s from seniors Ben Ha and Kyle Seidl, and a 39 from junior Jayden Park.
Central Valley was led by a 38 from Kaden Mumaw’s 38.
The win moves North Allegheny to 10-2 in the section and 13-3 overall. The Tigers will be heading to post-season play on October 8th. The WPIAL Boys Golf brackets will be released on Friday, October 2. In the meantime, NA will be preparing for the first round of the WPIAL Individual’s being held at Hannahstown Golf Course on Monday and then resume play Tuesday at home in a non-section matchup against undefeated Franklin Regional.
