Track & Field finishes season at PIAA Individual Championships
North Allegheny traveled to Shippensburg University for the PIAA Individual Championships on Friday and Saturday. The NA girls posted 11 points, to finish in 23rd place.
Lindsay Breneman tied for seventh in the pole vault while Taylor Neese was the sixth-place finisher in shot put. Audrey Maxwell placed fourth in the discus and Emma Neese was seventh in the javelin.

Track & Field claims three individual golds at WPIAL Championships
North Allegheny traveled to Slippery Rock University to compete at the WPIAL Individual Championships on Thursday. The Tigers claimed
three individual gold medals on the girls side and multiple top eight finishes for the boys.
For the girls, Kendra Smith came in fourth in the 100-meter dash. Maya Currie was the silver medalist in the 800-meter. Samanatha Strelck placed fifth in the 3200-meter. The North Allegheny 4×400-meter relay team took fifth place while the 4×800-meter relay team finished with the bronze medal. Audrey Maxwell claimed the WPIAL discus title. Emma Neese and Amara Daugherty were fourth and fifth in the javelin. Lindsay Breneman took silver in the pole vault. Taylor Neese won the shot put WPIAL title while Maxwell came in third. Avery Ruffus was the triple jump champion while Lydia Randiga finished fourth.
On the boys side, Rocco Martino finished seventh in the 200-meter. Gatik Hirwani was the eighth-place finisher in the 1600-meter. The NA 4×800-meter relay team finished in eighth and Charles Gibson took home the bronze medal in the discus.

The Tigers now switch their attention to the PIAA Individual Championships that will take place on May 22 and 23 at Seth Grove
Stadium on the campus of Shippensburg University.
NA girls reclaim WPIAL title
The North Allegheny girls’ track and field team won its fourth WPIAL crown in five years and 15th overall on Tuesday at the WPIAL Class AAA Championships at West Mifflin High School. The Tigers’ 15 overall district titles now give them the most in WPIAL history. The NA Girls defeated Norwin (89-61), Mt. Lebanon (81-69), and Hempfield (97-53).
The NA 4×800 relay team of Maya Currie, Samantha Strelick, Madeline Jablonski, and Mary Lucas placed second. Lola Hood finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles. Kendra Smith won the 100-meter dash and came in third in the 200-meter. Lily Ries was fifth in the 1600-meter run. The Tiger 4×100-meter relay team of Myla Benoit, Kendra Smith, Blake Stotsky and Lydia Randiga came in second place. Currie won the 400-meter, Madeleine Jablonski placed fifth in the 800-meter run and Strelick placed first in the 3200-meter run. The 4×400-meter relay team of Currie, Smith, Avery Ruffus and Blake Stotsky came in third. Lindsay Breneman came in fourth in the long jump and first in the pole vault, while Ruffus claimed the triple jump title. Eva Pesci was third in the high jump and Audrey Maxwell won the discus title. Emma Neese and Amara Daugherty were the top two in the javelin, while Taylor Neese won the shot put.

North Allegheny girls finish runner-up at Baldwin Invitational; Boys finish fourth
North Allegheny traveled to Baldwin High School on Friday to participate in the 52nd annual Baldwin Invitational. The girls finished the day with 62 points, good enough for a second place team finish. The boys ended with 41.60 points on the day. Hempfield swept the girls and boys team titles.
For the girls, Gabriela Pizon took second in the 3200-meter run, Madeline Jablonski was sixth in the 800-meter run and Elena Farrah was the third-place finisher in the 300-meter hurdles. Eva Pesci tied for seventh in the high jump. Taylor Neese and Audrey Maxwell were the top two finishers in shot put. Maxwell won the discus while Dereon Alualu was seventh and Lindsay Breneman claimed the pole vault title.
On the boys side, Sam Cohn was third in the 110-meter hurdles and sixth in the 300-meter hurdles while Peter Gibson finished in eighth in the 110-meter hurdles. Rocco Martino placed third in the 100-meter dash and sixth in the 200-meter dash. Matthew Eisenreich was the eighth-place finisher in the 400-meter dash. The North Allegheny 4×100-meter relay team took fourth place while NA’s 4×400-meter relay team placed seventh. Gatik Hirwani took fifth in the One Mile Run, Camden Jones tied for seventh in the high jump and Carter Thomas took eighth place in the triple jump. Charles Gibson was runner-up in discus.

The NA boys will now shift their attention to the WPIAL Individual Championships on Wednesday, May 13. The NA girls will take on Hempfield, Mt. Lebanon and Norwin tomorrow at West Mifflin High School at 3:30 p.m. with the WPIAL Team Championship on the line.
Tigers place second at RMU Invitational
North Allegheny traveled to Robert Morris University to take part in the Bobby Mo Don’t Run Slow Invitational. The NA girls posted 110 points while the NA boys put up 133 points on the day. Both teams finished in second place. Butler claimed the team title for both the girls and boys.
On the girls side, Lola Hood won the 100-meter hurdles title while Mwende Abai finished eighth in the 100-meter dash. Cailyn Natali was the third-place finisher in the 1600-meter run. Carly Sullivan and Addison Pavely placed second and third in the 300-meter hurdles and Madelyn Keiser was runner-up in the 800-meter run. Kendra Smith and Blake Stotsky were the top two finishers in the 200-meter dash. Leila Nocera and Hannah Si finished second and third in the 3200-meter run. Lydia Randiga placed second in the high jump, Saniya Divekar was fourth in the discus and fifth in shot put while Amara Daugherty won the javelin.
For the boys, Caden Petro placed third in the 100-meter dash. Colin Clarkson won the 1600-meter run while the NA 4×100-meter relay team finished in third place. Dominic Sturzinger was fourth in the 400-meter dash. Nathan Hou and Justin Peoples were one and two in the 800-meter run. Bradyn Verdi, Thomas Haas and Kushal Mohan finished fifth through seventh in the 200-meter dash. Sidath Perera claimed the 3200-meter run title. The North Allegheny 4×400-meter relay team placed second. Peoples was fourth in the high jump while Colton Bradshaw finished fifth in the long jump and third in triple jump. Mason Kuder placed fourth in triple jump. Callan Bunger took fifth in the javelin and Colin Sefick was eighth in shot put.
