Tigers Edge Butler For Section Win
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team traveled to Butler Country Club on Friday to battle the Tornado and squeaked out a win, 207-208, to snap a three-match losing streak. Leading the way for the Tigers was Luke Minsky who shot a 38, followed closely behind by Julian Rau who posted a 39. Pat Narduzzi and Ryan Dougherty each shot a 42, while Kyle Dewey chipped in with a 46. Butler’s top golfer was Nic Leone who led the scorecard with a 36.
North Allegheny improves to 9-5 overall and 5-4 in the section. The Tigers host Upper St. Clair on Monday at North Park Golf Course.
