Carlyn Vaupel receives first-team all-state laurels

North Allegheny senior outfielder Carlyn Vaupel has been named to the all-state softball team by the Pennsylvania High School Coaches Softball Association.

Garnering a First-Team All-State selection, Vaupel provided the Tigers with great offense throughout the 2024 season with a .509 batting average, five home runs and 15 runs batted in. Vaupel was also eight for eight on stolen base opportunities and was clutch at the plate for North Allegheny sporting a .529 batting average with runners in scoring position.

Vaupel was also a Big 56 first-team all-section selection and signed her letter of intent to continue her softball career at Division II Gannon University.
