Brynn Serbin (North Allegheny, 2019) led her basketball team, the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears, to the 2022-2023 Ohio Athletic Conference (D-III) regular season championship, and the conference tournament championship as well. Junior Leyna Rumpler became the first state champion in North Allegheny girls’ wrestling history and three other Tigers medaled at the Pennsylvania State Championships on Sunday at Central Dauphin High School. The WPIBL held the 2023 Western Regional over the weekend.
