
Tigers upended by Rams On The Road

The North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team traveled to Pine-Richland on Wednesday for a section matchup with the Rams. PR took care of business with a 20-4 win over NA.
After Pine scored the first goal, North Allegheny responded with a goal three minutes later by junior Reagan Riordan. The Rams then went on a 10-goal run to reclaim the lead. North Allegheny’s lone goal in the second was scored by sophomore Sarah Harlan.
The Tigers added two more goals in the third quarter from senior Viola DelVecchio and the second goal of the game by Riordan.
Junior keeper Fiola Ragan made 10 stops in net.
With the loss, North Allegheny falls to 3-7 overall and 2-5 in the section. The Tigers are back in action against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in Ohio on Saturday at 12:45 p.m.
