Avery Anderson Signs Letter Of Intent To Grove City College
By: Jared Barton
North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse senior Avery Anderson officially signed her letter of intent to play at the next level on Wednesday. Anderson will head to Grove City College after her final spring season with the Tigers.
The senior attack has been important to the offense over the last few seasons. In 2023, Anderson was fourth on the team in goals with 21. Last season, she was third in scoring with 32 markers. Anderson was named All-Section Honorable Mention for her efforts in the 2024 campaign.
Anderson is set to study Business Administration at Grove City, which participates in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. The Wolverines have sponsored Women’s Lacrosse since the 2022 season, and in that time, Grove City has reached the conference championship two out of the three seasons. The Wolverines are coming off their first PAC title and NCAA DIII Tournament appearance in program history in 2024. The 15 wins tallied last year is also a program record.
North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse begins the 2025 season at home for a non-section matchup against Plum on March 14th.
