
Blue Devils Best Tigers In Non-Section Clash

The North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team hosted defending WPIAL Champion Mt. Lebanon at Newman Stadium Monday night. Lebo scored 14 straight goals to coast to a 14-2 win.
The Blue Devils had six players score two goals each including Aubrey Betler, Grace Manning, Cali Green, Ireland McFarland, Quinn Murdoch and Lucy Pryor. Kat Walters and Vivi Warhola also scored for Lebo.
North Allegheny scored the last two goals of the contest in the fourth quarter courtesy of senior Avery Anderson and junior Reagan Riordan.
Junior goalkeeper Fiola Ragan made four stops for the Tigers, while sophomore Ruby Rosenberg also made four saves in relief. Blue Devils junior Nina Crago made three stops in the win.
Riordan was named Wright Automotive Player of the Game for her efforts.
North Allegheny falls to 0-2 on the young season and begins section play next Wednesday against Shaler at Newman Stadium. First draw is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. You can listen to that game live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
