Boys Golf upended by South Fayette

The Tigers hosted non-section rival South Fayette on Monday afternoon at North Park, where the battle of the cats came down to the final stroke. In a nail-biter finish, the Lions clawed out a one-shot victory over North Allegheny, 188–189.
Senior Colin Ward led the charge with an impressive even-par round, navigating a dry course and strong winds with poise. Senior Ravi Desai carded a 37, while senior Preston Troiano and junior Kyle Seidl each posted solid 38s. Senior Liam Cooper’s 40 rounded out the Tigers’ scoring.
With the narrow loss, North Allegheny moves to 11–2 on the season. Today, the Tigers head to the range to fine-tune their swings before traveling Wednesday to face New Castle at Sylvan Heights Golf Course at 1 p.m.
