Five Tigers Earn Girls’ Lacrosse All-Section Selections
By: Jared Barton
After another postseason appearance, the North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team had five players honored for their efforts with all-section honors.
Senior attack Viola DelVecchio and junior midfielder Reagan Riordan each earned first-team all-section spots. Senior midfielder Tessa McDowell earned second-team laurels, while senior defenders Eryn Kelly and Jamie Harlan were named to the honorable mention team.
DelVecchio tallied six goals in the 2025 campaign and ends her Tiger career with 16 total markers. She was named Wright Automotive Player of the Game in the home section opener against Shaler back in March. Riordan capped off another successful season leading the Tigers with 40 total goals. The prolific scorer now sits at 95 career goals with one more year to go.
McDowell has been a solid contributor in the midfield for the better part of the last three seasons. She ended her senior campaign with two goals and seven total markers in her career.
Kelly and Harlan were mainstays on the defensive front for the Tigers for multiple years. They were also a part of the 10-member senior class that continued to help grow the culture for NA girls’ lacrosse in recent seasons. Kelly’s season even included her first-ever varsity goal when she slotted in at attack in the April 9th win over Allderdice.
