Jax Wilhite Named to Post-Gazette’s All-Area Team
North Allegheny senior Jax Wilhite has been named to the Post-Gazette’s All-Area Team in boys’ volleyball for the 2023 season. Wilhite was a key cog in North Allegheny’s WPIAL runner-up finish this past spring and 11-5 overall record. See below for the PG’s write-up on Wilhite’s All-Area recognition:
Jax Wilhite, North Allegheny (6-0, Sr., OH): Wilhite was voted to the WPIAL first team this year. The Tigers placed second in the WPIAL in Class 3A. Wilhite ranked first on the team with 384 kills. He also had a .329 hitting percentage, 170 digs and 33 blocks. He is planning to attend Virginia Tech in the fall to study mechanical engineering.
