Lady Tigers LAX Rally Stifled by Sewickley Academy
The North Allegheny girls lacrosse team came up short falling to Sewickley Academy 9-5. The Tigers faced a 5-1 deficit at the end of the first half. NA put together a furious rally attempt scoring 3 goals in under 4 minutes but it wasn’t quite enough. Leading the way for the Tigers was Marissa Lambert who had 3 goals and 1 assist. Also adding tallies to the sheet were Abby Washabaugh and Sami Mogielski who scored 1 goal a piece. Tiger goalie Katie Shideler posted 9 saves in the contest. The match was closely contested till late in the game when the Panthers had a rally of their own and scored a few late goals to put the game out of reach.
