Laura Cotter Signs On With Indiana University of Pennsylvania
North Allegheny senior centerfielder Laura Cotter signed her letter of intent on Thursday to play college softball at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. An All-Section Second-Team selection during her junior season, Cotter held a dazzling .421 batting average with a home run and 21 RBI. As the table setter for the Tigers batting order, the speedy lead-off hitter scored a team-high 23 runs. Also a steady defensive centerfielder who reads the ball well off the bat, Cotter is on a similar pace this season for the Lady Tigers in her senior campaign.
Cotter will play at the NCAA Division II level with the IUP Crimson Hawks where she will major in Social Science Education.
