Madalyn Wombles signs with WV Wesleyan College
North Allegheny senior Madalyn Wombles signed her letter of intent on Tuesday to continue her academic and athletic career at West Virginia Wesleyan College. West Virginia Wesleyan is an NCAA Division II program in the Mountain West Conference in Buckhannon, WV.
Wombles is part of a North Allegheny girls’ track and field team that won the WPIAL championship in 2022. Wombles competes in the Triple Jump and 100m dash. She holds a personal best of 34 feet in the Triple Jump and a time of 12.9 in the 100 meter.
At West Virginia Wesleyan, Wombles will major in Elementary Education. She is pictured above with North Allegheny head coach John Neff (right) and assistant coach Dave Interthal (left).
