Maggie Lapina & Ethan Maravich go back-to-back at WPIAL Diving Championships
North Allegheny was at the friendly confines of the NASH Pool for the WPIAL Diving Championships on Saturday morning. The Tigers claimed WPIAL gold in both the girls and boys event with the boys taking gold and silver.
On the boys side, Ethan Maravich defended his title posting a 538.95. Teammate Anthony Farrah finished in second-place with a score of 527.45. NA has 37 points as a team going into the WPIAL Swimming Championships.
For the girls, Maggie Lapina won her second consecutive WPIAL title with a 494.70, 42 points better than Ali Water of Seneca
Valley in second place. This is the seventh straight season a Tiger won WPIAL gold in girls diving. Leah Maiolo finished sixth with a score of 392.45. The Tigers picked up 33 points heading into the WPIAL Swimming Championships next week.

The Tigers return to action on Thursday when they travel to Trees Pool on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh to compete in the WPIAL Swimming Championships. Swimming will start around 9:45 a.m.
