NA bounces back; defeats Canon-McMillan, 7-3
North Allegheny traveled to North Strabane Intermediate School to take on the Canon-McMillan Big Macs on Thursday afternoon in a Section 1-6A contest. The Tigers bounced back after dropping their last two contests defeating the Big Macs 7-3.
Twila Goulding had three hits for NA with a home run and three runs batted in. Erin Fadgen and Zoe Rychel each had a double along with driving in a run. Sammy Plotsko picked up the win in the circle striking out eight batters.
North Allegheny improves to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the section. Canon-McMillan falls to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in section play. The Tigers return to action today when they host Butler at 4 p.m. This game will be broadcast live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
