NA Boys Earn WPIAL Title, Girls Grab Silver
The NA Boys laid claim to their second straight WPIAL title on Monday afternoon at the WPIAL Class AAA Team Track & Field Championships at Baldwin High School. The Lady Tigers were also impressive, earning a second place trophy.
For the NA Boys, it couldn’t have been more dramatic as the Class AAA crown came down to the final event. North Allegheny clinched the team title, edging Mt. Lebanon with a second place finish by Bobby Upton and a third place leap by Robbie Wanner in the pole vault.
The Tigers Track & Field Team will return to action on Thursday for the WPIAL Individual Championships.
