NA Boys’ Golf Takes Tri-Match
In a non-section tri-match on Thursday afternoon, the North Allegheny Boys Golf Team defeated the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils and Hampton Talbots. North Allegheny posted a score of 200, edging out Mt. Lebanon’s 202 and playing comfortably ahead of Hampton’s 219.
Freshman Chris Cato put forth an impressive performance to lead all golfers with a 37. Fellow freshman Martin Mrazik and junior Martin Lazzaro each shot a 40 on the day. Senior Mike Sudo posted a 41, junior Josh Huhn shot a 42, and freshman Ryan Dougherty notched a 43. Leading the way for Hampton was Brian Hamlin’s 39. Thomas Cadle and Ryan Beggs also shot 39’s to pace the Blue Devils.
North Allegheny will opens up section play with a home meeting against the Shaler Titans. Tee-time is slated for 3:30 pm.
