NA Boys Golf Topples Tornado
The Tigers boys’ golf team battled through intense heat and humidity for a 204-218 section win at Butler on Wednesday afternoon. The heat conditions proved to be huge factors, but Tigers stayed strong and secured the win thanks to a trio of 40’s from senior Noah Wessel, junior Ryan Dougherty and senior Dillan Layman. Juniors Kyle Dewey added a 41 and David Mrazik posted a 43 to help NA to the win. Butler was led by Nic Leone who shot a 40 on the day.
North Allegheny sits at 4-1 overall and 2-1 in section play. The Tigers host the Pine-Richland Rams on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm.
