NA claims section title with win over New Castle in regular season finale

North Allegheny hosted New Castle at North Park Golf Course on Tuesday and turned the Hurricanes into little more than a breeze, cruising to a dominant 173–215 victory.
Senior Preston Troiano led the way with an impressive 3-under-par 33, the top score of the day. Fellow senior Colin Ward followed closely with a 2-under 34, while seniors Ravi Desai and Mike Huet each carded steady 1-under 35s. Junior Kyle Seidl added consistency to the lineup with an even-par 36.
New Castle’s effort was paced by Brody Young.
With the win, the team’s section record improves to 10-2 and 16-3 overall. North Allegheny caps off its regular season as section champions, securing first place in the standings. The Tigers now turn their focus to the WPIAL Individual Tournament Semifinals, set to be played at Willowbrook Country Club. Team playoffs are set to begin October 6th.
