NA CRUISES BY BETHEL PARK
The North Allegheny Swimming and Diving Team rolled past Bethel Park to continue their unbeaten streaks. The NA Boys won by the score of 105-68, while the NA Girls earned a 106-75 decision.
The girls won all individual events and two of the three relays. The individual winners include Delaney Kennedy for the 200 Free, Vivien Li for the 200 IM, Lexi Sundgren for the 50 Free, Quinn Frost for the 100 Butterfly, Torie Buerger for the 100 Free, Madeline Harris for the 500 Free, Olivia Kisow for the 100 Backstroke and Molly Smyers for the 100 Breaststroke. The winning 200 and 400 Free Relay Teams were made up of Ella Ogden, Buerger, Sundgren and Myers.
The boys took six individual events and two of the three relays. The individual winners included Branko Kosanovich for the 200 Free, Tim Compton for the 200 IM, Josh Galecki for the 50 Free, RJ Swanson for the 500 Free, Alex Grahor for the 100 Backstroke and David Shi for the 100 Breaststroke. The winning 200 Free Relay team was composed of Wyatt Courville, Richard Jensen, Rick Mihm and Swanson. The 400 Free Relay was won by the team of Jensen, Mihm, Hayden Klein and Courville.
The girls diving team had some excitement as they received a good challenge from Bethel Park but they were able to prevail. Maya Ennis took first place, Eva Betz got third place, Olivia Schenk got fourth and Jordan Richards took sixth.
The boys diving team had it easier and got a 1-2 finish. Will Schenk won first and Lucas Rodgers took second.
The teams travel to section rival Seneca Valley on Thursday. The meet starts at 6 p.m. with diving.
