NA Earns Section Win Against North Hills, 199-231
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team traveled to Shannopin Country Club on a warm afternoon to challenge North Hills and handed the host Indians a 199-231 defeat.
The Tigers won the section match thanks in part to a pair of 3-over par 38’s from juniors Jake Watterson and Collin Wang. Freshman Ravi Desai also had a strong day with a 39. Sophomore Chris Hoffman and freshman Colin Ward added a pair of 42’s. North Hills was paced by Kasey Toia, who shot a 39.
North Allegheny improves to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in section play. The Tigers have a few days to rest and reload their golf bags for four matches next week.
