NA Extends Unbeaten Streak To 8 Straight With 11-0 Win Over Allderdice
The North Allegheny field hockey team extended its unbeaten streak to eight consecutive games with an 11-0 win over Allderdice at Newman Stadium on Tuesday night.
Six different Tigers scored goals in the win, including senior Sofia Mianzo who opened the scoring in the first quarter. From there, the rout was on and the Tigers cruised to the victory. Junior Isla Abrams and sophomore Mia Brinkley paced the offense with a hat trick each. Junior Sophie Grafton netted a pair of markers, while sophomore Bailey Yatko and senior Mila Prusak all netted one goal apiece.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 7-1-1 overall and 4-0 in Section 1-AAA. The Tigers hope to continue their winning ways with a visit to Norwin for another section matchup on Thursday.
