NA Falls To Upper St. Clair In Non-Section Fray
The North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team fell to the Upper St. Clair Panthers on Friday night, 21-13, in a non-section game at Newman Stadium.
North Allegheny fell behind 14-4 by halftime and was unable to put together a rally in the second half. The Tigers were paced on offense by sophomore Skye DePrado and senior Brooke Ferringer with four and three goals, respectively. Sophomore Katie Oates added a pair of goals as well. Also touching the scoresheet for the Tigers were Makenna Tuman, Lola Wilhite, Lexi McClure and Paige Jones.
The visiting Panthers were led by junior midfielder Lauren Hart with an eight-goal performance.
North Allegheny sits at 4-4 overall on the season following the non-section defeat. The Tigers return to section play on Monday night with a home game against the Butler Golden Tornado. The contest will be broadcast live via the internet by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
