NA Grad Grant Martens Wins Long Drive Title

North Allegheny graduate (’08) and golf standout Grant Martens captured the Long Drive Championship at the Industry Cup in Irvine, California.  During his senior season at North Allegheny, Martens helped the Tigers to a fifth place finish at the WPIAL Championships.  Individually, Martens finished fifth at WPIALs, eventually reaching the PIAA Championships.  At Heritage Resort in York, PA, Martens shot a 154 and tied for 21st.  Since graduating from NA, Martens attended Cal Poly and is now having professional success.  Click here to read an article from Golf Week about Martens most recent triumph at the Long Drive Championship.
