NA Moves To 5-0 With Sweep of Chartiers Valley
The North Allegheny boys’ tennis team completed the early non-section portion of their schedule by defeating Chartiers Valley, 5-0.
Senior Trey Davidson got NA on the board first winning 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Freshman Advaita Sircar remained perfect for his fourth consecutive match with another 6-0, 6-0 win. The third and decisive point of the match came at third singles as sophomore Evan Kaufman completed the singles sweep, 6-0, 6-0.
The second doubles team of senior Adithya Ramadas Guptha and sophomore Adhav Ramadas kept the ball rolling with another 6-0, 6-0 victory. Wrapping up the scoring was junior Sri Thirumala and senior Amit Bhandari with a 6-0, 6-3 win at first doubles.
Tomorrow, the team travels the six miles down Route 19 to visit long-time rival North Hills to open section play. Match time is set for 3:30 PM.
