North Allegheny traveled to Penn-Trafford High School on Tuesday night to take on the Norwin Knights in a Section 1-3A contest. The Tigers jumped all over the Knights rolling to a 11-0 win.

Grace Gavran got the scoring started on an assist from Audrey Evancho. Giana Gross got the next two goals both assisted by Kaylee Volk and NA led 3-0 after the first quarter.

Davia Gross got on the board to start the second quarter assisted by Volk to make the score 4-0. Gavran scored again, this time assisted by Reagan Hall and the lead expanded to 5-0. Addison Burns made the score 6-0 and with under a minute to play in the half, Bethany Kutlenois got a pass from Kendall McCusker and scored for North Allegheny to lead 7-0 at halftime.

The Tigers kept on the pressure in the third quarter with Gavran completing the hat trick early in the third quarter and Burns got back on the score sheet to lead 9-0 going into the final period. After collecting four assists, Volk was rewarded for her play with a goal of her own and Chloe Eich found the back of the net for NA to finish off an 11-0 victory.

North Allegheny improves to 7-5-1 overall and 4-3 in section play. The Tigers have the rest of the week off before returning to action on Monday to host Hempfield at 7:30 p.m. This match will be broadcast on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
