NA Takes 3rd In Non-Section Tri-Match
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team took third place in a tri-match with Upper St. Clair and Sewickley Academy on Thursday afternoon. USC came in first with a team score of 174 at Diamond Run Golf Course. Sewickley Academy took second with a 199, followed by NA in third place with a score of 202.
NA juniors Adam Steinmetz and Peter Canovali led the team with a 3-over par 38 and 4-over par 49, respectively.
The clubhouse leader was Upper St. Clair’s Nate Piatt with a 4-under par 31. Sewickley Academy was paced by John Aber’s even par 35.
North Allegheny drops to 6-5 overall on the season. The Tigers are idle until Tuesday when they visit Penn-Trafford for a non-section contest.
