NA upends reigning WPIAL Champions
North Allegheny traveled to Sylvan Heights on Wednesday afternoon for a non-section matchup against the reigning 2025 WPIAL Champion, South Fayette Lions. The Tigers continued their unbeaten start to the season with a strong performance.
Leading the way for the Tigers was freshman Jake Hendrick, who fired a 3-under-par 33. Junior Jayden Park followed with a 2-under-par 34, while senior Kyle Seidl added a 1-under-par 35 to help pace the Tigers.
Rounding out the North Allegheny card were senior Ben Ha and junior Ashok Venkat, who each posted a 40.
South Fayette was led by Hudson Vennum, who carded a 37.
The victory moves the Tigers to 5-0 overall on the season. North Allegheny gets right back to work tomorrow, returning to the course for a section matchup against New Castle.
