North Allegheny keeps rolling with 3-0 sweep of Butler
North Allegheny traveled to Butler High School to take on the Golden Tornado in a section matchup on Thursday night. After a competitive first set, the Tigers made quick work of Butler in sets two and three to sweep the Golden Tornado by set scores of 26-24, 25-17 and 25-16.
Will Robertson led the way with 11 kills along with 10 digs. Peter Bratich had 10 kills and four blocks. Nathan May added six kills. Elliot Swierczynski dished out 33 assists, had three blocks and five aces. Brendan Moore had two aces from the service line. Emmett Morris led the Tigers defensively with 19 digs.
North Allegheny improves to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in section play. The Tigers have the week off before they head east to Central York High School to take part in the York Invitational on Saturday, April 11.
