In probably the best swim of the night, Crane won the 500 free, and in the process, made a WPIAL cut and set a lifetime best.
For the girls, a pair of freshmen, Sophia Davidson and Charlotte Sunderlin shared the honors. Sunderlin won the 200-yard freestyle and made a WPIAL cut, she also finished second in the 100 fly and swam the first leg of the 400 freestyle-relay.
