North Allegheny picks up big 2-1 win over Pine-Richland on road
North Allegheny traveled to Pine-Richland High School on Tuesday night to take on the Rams in a rematch of the 2025 WPIAL Championship game. After falling to the Rams in the championship game a season ago, the Tigers got revenge defeating Pine-Richland by a score of 2-1. The win snaps a 28-game losing streak against the Rams. This is North Allegheny’s first win against Pine-Richland since October 21, 2015.
Audrey Evancho got the scoring going late in the first quarter off an assist from Kaylee Volk. Regan Hall got on the board in the fourth quarter on an Evancho assist, Sydney Bragunier made 13 saves and the Tigers escaped Pine-Richland with a 2-1 victory.
North Allegheny improves to 2-3-1 overall and 1-1 in the section. The Tigers return to action on Thursday when they host Norwin at Newman Stadium at 7 p.m. This match will be broadcast live on the North Allegheny Sports Network.
