North Allegheny stays unbeaten with sweep of Pine-Richland
North Allegheny traveled to Pine-Richland on Monday night to take on the Rams in a section battle. The Tigers remained unbeaten in match play defeating Pine-Richland by set scores of 25-12, 25-20 and 25-23.
Will Robertson led the Tigers offensively with 10 kills. Brendan Moore had nine kills, four blocks and five digs. Peter Bratich added five kills along with four blocks. Aaron Starck made three blocks at the net. Elliot Swierczynski had 25 assists to go along with three aces and five digs. Josh Chou had two aces from the service line. Emmett Morris and Nicholas DiPrato each had five digs.
North Allegheny improves to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the section. The Tigers return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Penn-Trafford to take on the Warriors in a non-section contest. Play will begin at 7 p.m.
