Softball tripped up at Hempfield
North Allegheny traveled to Hempfield to take on the second-ranked Spartans in a Section 1-6A showdown on Monday afternoon. Hempfield remained undefeated and now sit in first place by themselves as the Tigers were tripped up by a score of 13-3.
Erin Fadgen homered for the Tigers while Twila Goulding had two RBIs. Leah Carlson collected two hits.
North Allegheny falls to 5-5 overall and 4-3 in the section. Hempfield improves to 9-0 and 5-0 in section play. The Tigers get right back to it today when they travel to Woodland Hills to take on the Wolverines in another section matchup.
