Tiger Softball Gives Back
Keeping with their annual commitment of giving back to the community that has provided them with many opportunities, the North Allegheny Varsity / Junior Varsity Softball Teams recently conducted their annual clinic for younger players. This year, the senior members of the team chose the Mario Lemieux Foundation as the recipient of this year’s donation, naming their clinic “Gloves and Sticks for ’66.” In addition to a monetary donation of $500.00, the team provided a large box of new toys to be used in the work of the foundation. A representative from the Foundation recently came to North Allegheny to accept the donations and express gratitude on behalf of the organization. Congratulations to the 2016 Tigers for a successful continuation of a proud tradition.
